Nancy Casey is an associate professor and department chair of Elementary, Special and Early Childhood Education at St. Bonaventure.

casey-nancyNancy teaches undergraduate students in advanced methods courses and supervises field internships.  She also teaches graduate courses in technology for education professionals.

Nancy began writing edTPA® tips to help her own teacher candidates stay on track for successfully building their portfolios.

She’s excited to share this support system with candidates at other universities.

Nancy started her teaching career as an elementary school teacher in Mendham Township, New Jersey where she taught Kindergarten and primary grades for more than a decade.

Dr. Casey has a degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from the College of St. Elizabeth; a M.A. in Early Childhood from Rutgers University; and completed her doctoral studies at Teachers College, Columbia University in Curriculum and Instruction, focusing on Computing in Education.
